Hello forum community! With winter fast approaching, I’m trying to upgrade my cold-weather wardrobe. I’ve always worn heavy wool coats or bulky down parkas during late autumn, but I’m honestly tired of looking like a walking sleeping bag every time I step outside. I love the sharp, clean look of genuine leather, but I’m a bit skeptical about how well it actually holds up when temperatures start dropping close to freezing. For those of you who wear them daily during the chillier months, can a real leather piece keep you warm on its own, or is it strictly meant for mild spring weather unless you wear five layers underneath?
